Have you ever prepared for, say, a difficult meeting by playing out a “what if” scenario in a safe space beforehand? Or tried out a presentation in advance by standing up and speaking aloud to yourself to see if your message really comes over – and to ask yourself “what if I did it… a different way instead?”
Whatever the context, playing “what if…?” enables you to break free of unproductive patterns in the way you interact in the workplace.
